| The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages the informed and active participation of citizens in government, works to increase understanding of major policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. The LWV does not support or oppose any political party or candidate. The League recognizes responsible and effective decision making and actively seeks to be inclusive. | ||
